4:22 pm	So, in all of the whirlwinds of baseball and this semester (ow, ow, ow, that is the sound of me being totally fucked over), I sort of forgot to update this. Though, Tezuka hasn't posted much, so my reason for getting one of these, stalking him a little and seeing if he'd go out with me, has diminished, and displays a proporptionate relationship with my entries. Yanks got into the playoffs. And choked. Bad enough that the wankers from Boston won last year, but the South Side Sox? This is really humiliating. At least the American League came out on top. 2 years in a row with the actual series being a four game sweep. That game 3, though, going until after the bars closed here. Wow. It's halloween this weekend. Been invited to a couple of parties, don't know if I want to go. Costumes are /not/ a problem but dates might be. Don't want to lead anyone on when I'm already interested in someone else. Teaching my parents how to use email was in retrospect not one of my brighter ideas. This week alone Mother has sent me five audition notices. I'm turning my cellphone off, I don't want to know what her response is when she gets back the reply that is ふざけるな！ (Somehow, vulgar Japanese is all I've been able to retain.) 8:22 pm	We shut out Oakland! All right! Buckled down today when the game was in hand and cranked through my risk analysis. It makes my fingers tingle when it all comes together so quickly. I'll cross-check it tomorrow for any errors and put it in final form for presentation on Monday. Fall semester is going to be one large group project in this section, if rumor holds. 5:11 pm	There's a lot that can be learned by having a livejournal. I should introduce myself, though I have no idea why. My name is Renji Yanagi. I'm 21 years old and a native New Yorker. My parents are lunatics actors and in order to be rebellious I'm studying to be an unqualified geek. Actuarial sciences and statistics, which means I have a life ahead of me filled with facts and figures and numbers. My parents wanted me to be an actor or at least something artistic, which is why I had a double major (and yeah, I took a lot of crap at both ends of the spectrum for majoring in drama and statistics). I think they're a little disappointed that only at most half of me is like them. Neither of them can even balance a checkbook. Now, I'm a grad student by day and a bartender by night. I love sports and my motorcycle. Jeez, this sounds like a personal ad. More when I have time to figure out all the buttons on here. (Comment on this)
